Kit Assembly Instructions
Choker Instructions
1. Start by dividing the sinew into 4 equal lengths (3 if 3 row choker).
2. Take one of the spacers and insert one end of the sinew through the first hole pulling through approximately 9 inches. (Photo)3. Next, bring the sinew around the left side and through the same hole again (Photo), repeat around the right side. See (Photo) for this step finished. Repeat on rest of sinew.
4. Now, take your beads, remaining spacers and bone hair pipes and lay them out as they will be assembled. (this can be done on a cloth on the floor or carpet so they don't roll all over).5. Assemble as shown until all 4 rows are done. (Photo)
6. When assembled, put the last spacer on and finish it as you started the assembly in step #2.7. Once this is completed, put the 4 strands together, as shown (Photo) being careful not to distort the spacer, and tie a simple overhand knot. Do this on both sides.
8. To finish the ties, simply braid the sinew as far as you can and end with an overhand knot and this makes the ties. Once around your neck you can tie it in a bow knot. Slight variation, once both ends are braided, they can be inserted into a wood bead, with a hole just large enough for both ties to go through, then the overhand knot in the ends to prevent braiding from coming undone. This makes a slide that will hold choker in place while tying the rest of the bow. For further photos or help contact me gene@wbtco.com .
