Buffalo Trading Co. was founded in 1986 in the Kansas City Metro area as
a resource for Native American craft supplies for the general Scouting
public at a reasonable price.
We can
get most anything from places like Crazy Crow Trading Post, Grey Owl,
and other suppliers.
email us with the items you
are interested in and we will let you know what we can save you. We
also have access to black powder accessories, as well as parts for flint
lock & cap locks.
Please
be perfectly clear on one point,
no items are Native American made,
unless stated otherwise. If we are in doubt of origin or maker, it
will be stated as such.
We do
have resources for custom Native American made items. Let us see what we
can do for you. Everything from rosettes, lazy stitch work, pouches and
knife sheaths.
WBTCo
is a mail order/web based only company. We have no showroom although we can often
be found at local rendezvous and Scouting events. We accept
checks and money orders but
PayPal is preferred and the fastest,
smoothest transaction.
We also
support Native American Rights Fund, St Labre Indian School and Native
American Heritage Association. Please feel free to visit them (see our
links page) and keep them in mind when it comes to charitable donations.
"Mitakuye Oyasin"
Mitakuye Oyasin is Lakota Sioux for "All My Relations." It is a
prayer of oneness and harmony with all forms of life: other people,
animals, birds, insects, trees and plants, and even rocks. It
reminds us that we are connected to these other aspects of Creation,
that we share a common kinship in the Hoop of Life.
